Complete the three short steps shown in DOBIERO. The app currently shows Polish button labels and only the action you need now. Your iPhone may ask about location more than once.

Set up DOBIERO in three steps

  1. Open DOBIERO and tap the Polish button “Zacznij”. In step 1, read the explanation and tap “Dalej: lokalizacja”. In the iOS prompt, allow location while using the app and turn on Precise Location.
  2. In step 2, tap “Ustaw lokalizację w tle”. In the next prompt, allow location while the app is closed. If no prompt appears, DOBIERO shows a short path to the Always setting.
  3. In step 3, tap “Dalej: powiadomienia” and allow notifications. Then tap “Sprawdź i włącz”, read the information, and confirm with “Włącz przypomnienia”.

Check Location Services

  1. Open Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Location Services.
  2. Select DOBIERO.
  3. Check the location access level and the Precise Location setting.

What do these options mean?

  • Access only while using the app does not let DOBIERO check places when the app is not visible.
  • “Always” access lets the system start a background check, but it does not guarantee an immediate notification.
  • Turning off Precise Location may make it harder for DOBIERO to tell nearby places apart.

Check notifications separately

  1. Open Settings, then Notifications.
  2. Select DOBIERO.
  3. Check whether notifications are allowed and where they may appear.

Your iPhone controls the timing

iOS may delay background activity or shorten a location check. DOBIERO cannot promise a reminder on every visit or at an exact time.
