1. Your phone notices a nearby area
Android or iOS may notice that your phone is near a selected area. This starts a check. It does not prove a visit.
2. DOBIERO checks your location
The app compares your current location with nearby places. Everything happens on your phone. Your precise location is not sent to a DOBIERO server or analytics tools.
- whether the location is current and accurate enough
- how close you are and whether you stay nearby
- whether nearby places are hard to tell apart
- whether the place, brand, or category is muted
- how long it has been since the last reminder
3. One current list, a separate notification decision
Every good reading rebuilds the full list of verified apps. Exact places in a conservative envelope below 80 metres come first, followed by safe nearby suggestions up to 150 metres. Home and the widget update immediately. A notification appears only after several consistent readings and the required dwell time.
- A notification shows up to four apps and the remaining count; the widget shows as many as its size can hold.
- A suggestion never opens or installs another app. It needs your tap.
- After 10 minutes the app tries to confirm the list at the next safe opportunity; a weak or stale reading does not remove it immediately.
