A geofence is an area on a map. Your phone can notice that you are nearby. DOBIERO does not turn this into a travel history.
How does a geofence work?
Android or iOS watches a few selected areas. When your phone is near one, the system may start a brief location check.
- A geofence signal does not confirm a visit to a specific place.
- A good reading prefers a neutral list of possible nearby apps over silence.
- A specific place or best-matching set appears only after stronger confirmation.
Geofencing vs continuous tracking
Continuous tracking can record a route and movement history. DOBIERO does not do that. It briefly checks the current place and does not create a history of coordinates, routes, or visits.
- no history of your precise route
- no history of visited places
- no history of coordinates
- no list of installed apps
What stays on your phone?
Your phone keeps settings, muted items, gaps between reminders, and the current suggestion. Precise location is not sent to a DOBIERO server, advertisers, or analytics tools.
- You can turn off location access in phone settings.
- You can delete DOBIERO data in the app settings.
